The NanoVes System is a bio-nano carrier targeting technology platform that was originally developed by SDG, Inc., an Equity Partner Company of the Cleveland Clinic and a leading provider of next-generation bio-nano drug delivery systems.

The NanoVes System is composed of 20 – 50 nanometer sized phospholipid-based bio-nanoparticles that are compatible with both subcutaneous (SC) injection as well as highly efficient oral delivery and incorporate a proprietary targeting agent. The active pharmaceutical ingredients are then incorporated into the carrier by electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions and are delivered to the desired cellular targets, where the payload is efficiently deposited. This level of exquisite cell targeting and delivery is supported by a large database of histopathological results that show clear endocytosis (or internalization of the carrier in the interior of the target cell) of the NanoVes System, in vitro and in vivo pharmaco dynamic data, and whole animal and human pharmacological data.
